Boylan stays in Austria

The best Austrian team from the last season was able to find a way for a contract extension with one of their key players from the last season. Ian Boylan will stay for at least one more year with the Allianz Swans Gmunden.

Today Ian Boylan agreed terms with the Allianz Swans Gmunden for the 2010/2011. It will be his 4th season with the Swans and during that time he was able to win the Championship and Cup twice and the 2009/2010 was the most successfull season the history of Gmunden. They were able to win both, the Cup and the Championship and Boylan was one of the key players on Coach Fischer′s team. In 43 games he had 11.8 Points, 4.2 Rebounds, 5.3 Assists and 2.0 Steals per game. Besides of his outstanding stats he was voted Defensive Player of the year as well as All-League 1st Team.
