Marincheshki found a new challenge

The Bulgarian Forward Dimitar Marincheshki found a new club for the upcoming season as he changes teams within Bulgaria and he will now suit up for Rilski Sportist Samokov.

The 6’7 Forward Dimitar Marinchechski moved on from BC Spartak Pleven after playing two very successful seasons with the team. His outstanding performance drew a lot of attention in various countries but Dimitar decided to move to Rilski Sportist Samokov for the 2017-2018 season.

Rilski lost in last season’s Semi-Finals to Lukoil Academic Sofia and Sofia could win the Championship afterwards. Dimitar started already successfully in his new season as they could win their first game in the FIBA Europe Cup Qualification. Rilski could beat BC Nevezis from Lithuania with 81:76 and Dimitar was responsible for 8 Points (2P: 4/4), 6 Rebounds and a Steal in 22 Minutes. The seconde game will be played on 27th September in Samokov.
