A scoring combo guard, BJ has shown that he can be productive at both the point guard and shooting guard positions. BJ is a difficult matchup on the perimeter because he can score in a variety of ways. He consistently knocks down perimeter jump shots off the catch as well as off the dribble (41% 3ptFG). His range extends well beyond the three-point line. BJ has shown he can make NBA range threes off the dribble in one-on-one faceup situations or when using the ball screen. He creates a lot of space with his step back pullup jumper, and it was an effective weapon for him throughout his career. He also has an uncanny ability to hang in the air and finish inside against bigger defenders. BJ uses his athleticism to not only make plays for himself, but also his teammates. He is a willing passer and very good at finding open players when defenses collapse around him. BJ is a reliable ball handler and playmaker who rarely turns the ball over. He was pivotal in his team′s run to the NAIA Division 1 Final Four where he made nine threes in his final college game.
