Dominant Center on board

We are really delighted that we can welcome the American Center Gilbert Talbot on board. Talbot was one of the most dominant Centers during his rookie season in Finland.

The 6’10 Center Gilbert Talbot is a true low post operator that dominated the paint on both sides of the court. After his college career Talbot spent his first season as a professional with Forssann Koripojat in Finland.

During his college time at Louisiana Tech and LSU Alexandria Talbot proved already that he is a very effective player around the basket and during his season in Finland he emphasized his productivity as one the most dominant Center in the entire league. The former NAIA Final 4 participant finished his rookie season with 21.0 Points, 15.9 Rebounds, 2.9 Assists and 1.1 Steals per contest. He shot tremendous 63.4 % from the field, which ranked him forth in that category, but he had by far the most shot attempts.

Talbot led the league also in Defensive Rebounds per game, Offensive Rebounds per game, Total Rebounds per game, Double doubles (he recorded 21 Double doubles in 22 games) and Efficiency (30.4 per game).

These outstanding numbers helped him to receive Honorable Mention for his rookie season and now we are excited what Gilbert’s next steps as a professional athlete will be.
