 Heinrich Sport is extremely proud to announce that the WAC tournament MVP Dedrick Basile is the latest addition to the client list.
The 5’10 Guard Dedrick Basile joined CSU Bakersfield after two extremely successful JUCO season at Trinity Valley. During his Junior season at Bakersfield he brought great contribution to Roadrunners as he led his team to their first WAC tournament title in the school’s history. In the Conference Final Basile was netted the game winning 3 pointer to beat New Mexico State and his team celebrated their first NCAA tournament participation. He finished his Junior season with 12.0ppg, 3.3rpg, 3.7apg and 1.8spg. These outstanding numbers combined with the team’s success were key aspects in several individual honors for Basile. The Texas native was the WAC Conference Tournament MVP, a member of the All Conference Newcomer team as well as a member of the All Conference 2nd and All Defensive Team.
During his Senior season Dedrick guided his team to the Regular Season Championship but they lost the Conference Final to New Mexico State. The Roadrunners were invited to participate in the NIT tournament and they reached the Final 4, where they lost to Georgia Tech. The explosive Guard finished his season with 12.6ppg, 3.2rpg, 3.0apg and 1.6spg and he received All Conference 2nd Team and All Tournament Team honors again.
