New Face In Management-Team

We extremely happy that we could find an exciting new face for our management team. The former professional athlete and coach Mike Oppland brings a lot of new energy into our team.

Mike Oppland joins Heinrich Sports as a talent advisor. After an eight-year professional playing career and a two-year coaching career in Europe, he has built an extensive network with players and coaches throughout Europe. His playing and coaching career expanded into countries such as Denmark, Finland, Germany, Austria, and Luxembourg.

His focus will be the European market. He will network with coaches to determine their roster needs and use his contacts to locate potential clients. He will stay in contact with coaches throughout the season in case of roster changes.

He also has an extensive network in the United States which he built up over a four-year collegiate playing career as well as a two-year college coaching career. Throughout the college basketball season, he will contact coaches about potential clients and follow these prospects′ progress throughout the season.

Mike continues to coach at the youth level in Finland. His passion for teaching the game and helping young people improve should be valuable in his work for Heinrich Sports.

Mike will also be available to train clients and potential clients in Finland.
