Sean Ealy signs first professional contract with Lippe Baskets

Heinrich Sports is thrilled to announce that Sean Ealy has officially signed his first professional contract, joining the Lippe Baskets in Germany. The Cincinnati, Ohio native makes the move to professional basketball following an outstanding collegiate career at Wheeling University, where he established himself as one of the most prolific scorers in the conference.

During his senior season at Wheeling, Ealy was a dominant force, leading the Cardinals with an impressive 18.5 points per game. His efficiency and leadership were on full display throughout the year, as he eclipsed the 20-point mark 14 times and reached the 1,500-career-point milestone. Ealy’s ability to create for both himself and his teammates—averaging 3.2 assists per game—combined with his elite marksmanship from the free-throw line (88.9%), earned him well-deserved First Team All-MEC honors.

Standing at 180 cm (5’11”), Ealy is a versatile guard who combines high-level basketball IQ with a relentless work ethic. His transition from the collegiate ranks to the professional game in Germany marks a significant milestone in his career. Throughout his college tenure, Sean proved to be a clutch performer capable of taking over games, and Heinrich Sports is confident that his scoring instincts and competitive drive will be a major asset to the Lippe Baskets’ roster from day one.
