Jason Detrick signed with Sutor

S.S. Sutor Montegranaro (SerieA) strengthened their roster with addition of 33-year old American (has also Austrian passport) small forward Jason Detrick. The most of last season Detrick spent at Paschoalotto/Bauru (Paulista) in Brazilian league. In 16 games he recorded 4.8ppg and 1.3rpg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Detrick also played at Apollon (Division A) in Cypriot league earlier that season. In 5 games he averaged 14.2ppg, 2.4rpg, 1.2apg and 1.2spg. He also played 3 games in EuroChallenge where he averaged 5.7ppg, 2.7rpg, 1.7apg and 1.3spg.
The previous (11-12) season Detrick played at Lleida Basquet (LEB Gold) in Spanish league. In 38 games he averaged 14.2ppg, 3.4rpg and 2.0apg. Great season indeed as he was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Gold Bosman Player of the Year and voted to 3rd Team and voted to All-Bosmans Team.
In 2010-11 season he played at Melilla Baloncesto (LEB Gold) in Spain. In 33 games he was fourth best scorer with remarkable 15.7ppg and recorded 2.5rpg, 1.6apg and 1.0spg.
Among other achievements Detrick′s team was regular season runner-up in Austrian A Bundesliga in 2005 and 2007. He received also Eurobasket All-Austrian Bundesliga Player of the Year award back in 2005. Detrick represented Austria at the Qualifications to European Championships 2015 this year. His stats at that event were 6 games: 10.8ppg, 2.8rpg, 1.7apg, Blocks-4 (1.3bpg), FGP: 48.3%, 3PT: 39.3%, FT: 44.4%.
Detrick is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Holland, Hungary (Atomeromu), Spain (CB Canarias and Gipuzkoa) and Austria (Furstenfeld Panthers).
Detrick attended University of Oklahoma until 2004 and it is his tenth season in pro basketball.
