Westrol moves to Belgium

CUVA Houthalen (Division II) signed 24-year old American guard Jason Westrol. Westrol played most recently at CSU Asesoft Ploiesti (Romania). He helped them to win Romanian Cup, then regular season and make it to the league final. Westrol graduated Bentley College in 2010 and actually missed last season. It will be his third season in pro basketball. He played last season in 2 games in EuroChallenge Qualifying Round (15.0ppg, 2.5rpg, 2.5spg) and his stats in Romanian League are: 39 games: 10.9ppg, 3.1rpg, 2.4apg, 1.3spg, FGP: 56.5%, 3PT: 29.8%, FT: 71.4%

Prior to his European career Jason played for the University of Bentley and he dominated in the NCAA II. He finished his senior season with 21.1ppg, 5.2rpg, 4.1apg and 2.3spg.
