Chappell stays put
Klosterneuburg extended the contract with Jason Chappell. The Insideplayer signed a new two-year deal with the Dukes. Jason joined Klosterneuburg back in 2010 and he averaged 10.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists per game last season. Last season he won the Austrian Championship with the Dukes. Previously the Insideplayer had stints with the Frstenfeld Panthers and Gssing Knights. Eurobasket.com named Jason into All-Austrian Bundesliga Defensive Team in 2009 and 2012.
Also today the Dukes announced that they are going to participate in the FIBA EuroChallenge next season.
