Max Newman starts pro career in Portugal as well

We are thrilled to announce that our client, forward/center Max Newman, has signed with Portugal’s CAB Madeira for the upcoming 2025–26 Proliga season.

At 24 years old and standing 203 cm (6′8″), Max brings a versatile skill set and a proven impact on both ends of the floor. In his most recent season at IU Kokomo, he put together a standout campaign: over 30 games, he averaged 16.4 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.13 assists, and logged 1.3 steals and 0.67 blocks per game, with highly efficient shooting splits of 57.7% from the field, 34.5% from three.

Those numbers—and his consistent production year-over-year—earned him substantial recognition, including being named to the All-RSC First Team in both 2024 and 2025, reaching the RSC Tournament Semifinals in 2025, and helping his team finish as RSC regular-season runner-up in 2024 and 2025 .
