Croatian Center returns to Austria

For the 210cm tall Croatian Center Mario Spaleta it is going to be his third season in Austria, after playing one season with the Fürstenfeld Panthers and one with the Traiskirchen Lions. He spent the last season playing for Liege Basket in the BNTX (a league with teams from Belgium and the Netherlands) and in 29 games he was responsible for 7.5 Points and 4.6 Rebounds per game.

Spaleta will now be one of the centerpieces in the new roster of UBSC Raffeisen Graz and he presence around the basket on both ends of the floor should help the Styrian team to play another successful season. Last year marked the most successful season in the Club’s history as they reached the Semi-finals of the Austrian Superliga.
