After starting the season with the London Lightning the American Guard moved back to Europe and joined BC Körmend in the Hungarian top league.
The 185 cm tall American Jaytornah Wisseh has just signed with the Hungarian First League′s Kormend for a 2-week
try-out period. If he proves to be the import player the club needs, he
will stay for the remaining part of the season.
The 25 years old
guard graduated from LIU Brooklyn in 2010 after a 4-year NCAA-career.
Wisseh averaged 17.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.6 steals
per game as a senior and then he started his pro tenure as a member of
Rijeka (Croatian First League), where he played only 9 games.
He
had his best period with The Romanian First League′s Sibiu (23.5 ppg,
7.3 apg, 5.7 rpg and 2.9 spg) two years ago, then he joined Rovinari in
the same competetion in December, 2012. He posted 17.9 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 5.8
apg and 1.8 spg in the last season.
The US import player started
this year as a member of London Lightning (Canada), he erupted for 12.3
points, 5.7 dimes and 3.1 boards in his 15 appearances before he moved to Hungary. In his first game he was a major help for Körmend to beat the Hungarian champion of Alba Fehervar. In 35 minutes he recorded 18 Points, 3 Rebounds, 5 Assists and 4 Steals.
