Senior Guard Safee Abdus-Sabur recently completed his college campaign at Bloomfield College and he is ready to start his professional career. Bloomfield College finished their 2019-2020 season with a defeat against Dominican College in the CACC Tournament Semifinals and this game did also end the college career of 6’5 Guard Safee Abdus-Sabur. Abdus-Sabur finished his last season with 17.1ppg, 6.2rpg, 2.5apg and 1.2spg while spending over 32 minutes on the court per game. Overall, he scored a total 514 Points this season and he became an All-CACC Second Team member in 2020. Besides of that accomplishment the Met Basketball Writes voted him All-Met Division II Second Team as well. The 24-year-old Guard had a season high 29 Points against Saint Anselm in late November and in addition he also did grab a season high 12 Rebounds during this victory. During his entire college career, Abdus-Sabur provided a lot of leadership on both ends of the court and he became the key player in Coach Holmes’ offense. Besides of his creativity and scoring he also added a lot of rebounding from the Guard position, as he was the second-best rebounder on the entire roster and he will bring these attributes to his first professional team next season as well. « back |
