The left-handed Combo-Guard Josh Brown played College basketball at the Temple University and with 9.1ppg, 3.8rpg and 3.4apg he was one of the key players for the Owls. Brown started his pro career in Croatia playing for KK Alkar Sinj in the Premijer Liga. Over 21 games he established himself as one of the most dominant players in the country and he finished his rookie season with 16.5 Points (4th in the League), 5.6 Rebounds, 6.0 Assists (2nd in the league) and 1.4 Steals per game. His impressive numbers helped him to become an All-League Second Team member as well as an All-Imports Team member.
For the new season Brown joins SLUNETA Usti nad Labem in the Czech NBL. Last season Coach Pistecky’s team finished seventh in the domestic league and they lost in the Quarterfinals to Dekstone Turi Svitavy. Additionally, they also reached the Quarterfinals and lost to Croatian side of KK Skrljevo and for the new season the Club is aiming to reach at least the same in the upcoming season.
